JMD Training's classrooms are located in Ellesmere Port near Chester, very close to the M53 and M56 motorway systems and so is very accessible. 

JMD Training is fully approved by the Department of Transport and Scottish Qualification Authority and has been providing ADR Training Courses for over four years now. 

ADR in a nutshell
If a driver has to transport goods classed as dangerous and the goods are over certain quantities/weights, then by law, he/she must be in possession of a Vocational Training Certificate
(an ADR) irrespective of the vehicle size.  If you are unsure then or telephone him on 07973 295 879 and between us, your requirements can be assessed. 

Courses held at Ellesmere Port
Initial and refresher courses are run on a regular basis from this site. Full initial courses to incorporate the tanker module normally take up to four and a half days with a refresher taking up to three.

For candidates requiring just certain specific modules or classes, eg Class 3, petrol/diesel, we can tailor the course to suit, so in the main the candidate would not be required all week just certain parts of it, or even just two to three days. It just depends on what you want for your driver. 

JMD has the use of two purpose built, warm and clean classrooms which are fully equipped. JMD provides everything for the candidate, tuition with films, pens, handouts, refreshments through the day and a light sandwich type lunch in a canteen facility. For “growing lads” there is extra food available at very good prices. 

There is excellent free parking, on site security and local accommodation can be arranged if required.

External courses
JMD training has a 'mobile' licence from the Dft and SQA to provide training at customer premises, so courses can be held on your site and to your specification. A big saving on driver down time and costs.

All you have to do is provide a room which meets certain SQA requirements for training area, an electrical point and the facility to be able to make a decent cup of tea. JMD will bring all their own equipment to deliver the training. For further information or telephone him on 07973 295 879
